Ingleby Barwick is steeped in local history going back as far as the Stone Age and has been occupied for thousands of years and even has a Roman Settlement and Villa which has been excavated in part. With the large scale development of the area from the late 1970’s Ingleby Barwick became the largest private housing estate in Europe. The area has continued to expand and as a town now holds many businesses and as such the ‘Ingleby Barwick Hub‘ (IBH) is aimed at being a source for the community in getting to know and use these local businesses.

From small to medium businesses and even large corporations, having the opportunity to be visible all in one single place, ‘The Ingleby Barwick Hub‘ gives the community an ideal online source of information.

Along with this directory of local businesses, many events are held in the area and the IBH is a great place to inform everyone of what is going on. From charity events, fairs, fun runs and more, these can all be advertised on The Hub. Our aim, once established, is to also offer information on local jobs available within the community as well as a news feed for following up on the events mentioned earlier.
