Salsa In Yarm – First Saturday Social

Salsa in Yarm’s first Saturday of every month social!
We are very lucky to have Alfredo & Christine Mese teach a salsa class for us. They run the popular Engine Shed salsa socials and have been teaching for nearly 20 years. There will be fantastic music all night long, predominantly salsa with a good mix of bachata and a touch of Kizomba and Cha Cha.
🕺💃 Doors open: 8 pm
🕺💃 Class: 8.30 pm til 9.30 pm
🕺💃 Social dancing: 9.30pm til 1am
🕺💃 Cost: £10
Yarm Fellowship Hall is a fabulous venue with a great dance floor, lots of space, and seating areas. There’s no bar so don’t forget to bring any drinks and nibbles you want for a great social.

BACHATA SUNDAY SPECIAL

The workshop will be aimed at building on the fundamentals of bachata, building up to a variety of smooth dance patterns. Styling, leading and following techniques will be the foundations of the afternoon.

As always you’re welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Afterwards, we will be going to the Black Bull in Yarm for some food, drinks and a catch-up. If you would like to join us for this after the classes please contact us to let us know so we can book enough tables.

We are very lucky to have Richard & Angela teach a salsa class for us. They teach Salsa In Cumbria and are always popular in Yarm and many other socials and congresses throughout the UK.
There will be fantastic music all night long, predominantly salsa with a good mix of bachata and a touch of Kizomba and Cha Cha.

Join us Wednesday 4th January at Yarm Fellowship Hall to learn Salsa. This is our first class of 2023 after the Christmas and New Year break.
Have you ever wanted to learn to dance salsa? This is a great time to start! No partner or experience needed. 🕺💃 Dancing is good for the body and mind, expressing all your positive feelings. It’s a great way to meet new people and have fun at the same time!
💃Doors open: 7.20pm
​🕺Beginner/Improver classes: 7.30pm to 8.30pm
💃Intermediate class: 8.45pm to 9.30pm

Salsa in Yarm’s first Saturday of every month social!
We are so pleased to be able to invite you to join us at Salsa In Yarm for a great night of Salsa plus a mix of Bachata and a little Kizomba and Cha Cha Cha. We are very lucky to have Andreas Ru teach a salsa “with a twist” class for us. Andreas is an incredibly talented teacher and dancer with huge amounts of energy! Oh, and he will be none stop dancing with the ladies so it’s definitely not one to miss!

Salsa in Yarm’s first Saturday of every month social!

Please join us at Salsa In Yarm for another fun filled night of Salsa plus a mix of Bachata, Kizomba and Cha Cha Cha.
Tonight, we start the night off with a fun Rueda class by Eşref Parranda Ulaş.
Esref is well known and is great at teaching all levels of Rueda (as well as many other forms of dance) and will no doubt make it a fun filled night 😊

After listening to feedback, we have decided to extend this event to 3 hours instead of 2 – this will give more time for teaching, allow plenty of practice time and allow us to answer questions as well as dance with everyone. Ensuring everyone gets the most out of the afternoon.

As before classes will be aimed at starting with the fundamentals of bachata then slowly building up to a variety of smooth dance patterns. Styling, leading and following techniques will be the foundations of the afternoon. As always you’re welcome to bring your own refreshments.
