Arriva bus changes see some services saved: ‘We’re heading in the right direction’

Changes which have saved some bus services on Teesside have been welcomed as “heading in the right direction” by local leaders.

Arriva had announced changes, including cuts, affecting 25 services across Teesside, County Durham and Darlington from July 9. Now it has confirmed agreement had been reached after talks with the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) on numerous services from July 9:
