SOLD: £1m designer Yarm store owned by Mike Ashley snapped up months after going on the market

A designer clothes store owned by billionaire Mike Ashley has been sold months after going on the market with a £1.2m price tag.

The House, which was bought by the Sports Direct tycoon back in 2020, has finally been sold, subject to conditions, according to the listing on Rightmove. The High Street site was described as a “rare opportunity” when it was listed by agent Browns back in October, last year.

When taken over by the businessman, it was understood the venue was to become a branch of Cruise, one of Frasers’ luxury retail brands. The company also runs the likes of Flannels, USC, and Van Mildert and Lillywhites. It is not currently known whether the site will remain a designer clothes store.
